About Owner/Founder Gayle Khait
Khait PR is a Los Angeles–based entertainment public relations consultancy with a global perspective, specializing in personal branding, media relations, and thought leadership for television showrunners, writers, film directors, and actors. Founded in 2022 by Gayle Khait, the firm works with a deliberately small roster of clients on a retainer basis.
Gayle Khait has spent her career merging storytelling and strategy — first at Wolf-Kasteler, where she worked with actors including Laura Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, and Kristin Davis among others, and later as head of the Los Angeles office for Bumble Ward's Hive Communications, where she executed publicity campaigns for some of the most distinctive filmmakers working in cinema: Sofia Coppola, Luca Guadagnino, Paolo Sorrentino, Thomas Vinterberg, and the late Jean-Marc Vallée. On the awards side, she implemented strategy around films that went on to receive Academy Award nominations and wins, including Another Round, The Life Ahead, On the Rocks, and The Hand of God.
In 2022, she narrowed her client focus. Today, Gayle works exclusively with showrunners, writers, and actors who want a genuine strategic partner — someone who understands the industry from the inside and is as invested in the long arc of their career as they are. It's deliberate, more personal work than the traditional agency model.
She has been a featured speaker at AFI Conservatory, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and the USC Annenberg School for Communications. A native of Los Angeles, she has also lived in London, Paris, and Toronto.
